DevOps Engineer - II

Job Brief:- AU Small Finance Bank Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our IT department as a mid-level DevOps Engineer.
Responsibilities:-
Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, compliance, and cost-efficiency aligned with financial industry standards.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate and automate workflows, improving deployment frequency and reliability.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime and ensure high availability of banking applications.
Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to standardize and version control environments.
Develop and maintain configuration management solutions using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to ensure consistency across environments.
Conduct security assessments and implement best practices to safeguard sensitive financial data and comply with regulatory requirements.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of production issues.
Document processes, configurations, and system architecture to support knowledge sharing and compliance audits.
Stay updated with emerging DevOps tools and technologies to continuously improve the bank’s IT infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications:-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles within the financial services or banking industry.
Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are highly desirable.
Strong understanding of financial regulatory requirements and their impact on IT infrastructure and security.
Proven experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk.
