Role Description The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth in key customer segments, identifying new business opportunities, and building strategic relationships with clients and partners. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and onboarding new customers, promoting KVB’s products and services, conducting market and competitor analysis, and preparing sales proposals and presentations. The role involves close collaboration with branch teams, product teams, and operations to ensure a smooth customer experience and achievement of revenue and portfolio targets. This position is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai and requires regular field visits, client meetings, and participation in business development events and initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong business development, sales, and relationship management skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into long-term clients.
Candidates should possess skills in market research, competitor analysis, and strategic planning to support growth initiatives and optimize product positioning.
Candidates should possess sound communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for effective client engagement and internal stakeholder collaboration.
Candidates should possess basic proficiency in financial products, banking operations, and digital banking platforms, with the ability to understand and explain KVB’s offerings to customers.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree is an added advantage.
Proven experience in banking, financial services, or B2B sales, preferably in Retail, Corporate, MSME, or allied segments, will be beneficial.
Ability to work under targets, manage multiple client relationships, and maintain high ethical and compliance standards is expected.
