Role Description The Robotics Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The role involves designing, developing, and testing robotic systems and automation solutions for research and industrial applications. Daily tasks include programming and integrating hardware and software components, analyzing system performance, and optimizing processes for efficiency and reliability. The Robotics Engineer will collaborate with faculty, researchers, and industry partners, document technical work, and support the deployment and maintenance of robotic platforms in laboratories and pilot facilities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Robotics and Process Automation.
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving and system optimization.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
Candidates should possess Software Development skills relevant to robotics programming and integration.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience with robotic controllers, sensors, actuators, and industrial automation tools is preferred.
Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or MATLAB and robotics frameworks (e.g., ROS) is an advantage.
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and adapt to a research-driven academic environment.
