Role Description This Diploma Civil Engineer Trainee position is an internship role based on-site in Durgapur. The trainee will support senior engineers in daily project activities, including site supervision, measurement and documentation of work, and coordination with contractors and site workers. Responsibilities include assisting in basic civil engineering design tasks, reviewing drawings, and helping with planning and scheduling of site activities. The role involves monitoring construction progress, checking material quality as per instructions, maintaining site records, and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines. The trainee will be expected to learn and apply civil engineering principles, participate in problem-solving on site, and prepare basic reports for project updates.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Civil Engineering Design and fundamental Civil Engineering principles.
Candidates should possess understanding of the Civil Engineers role in project execution and site coordination.
Candidates should possess skills in Planning and basic project scheduling.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure concepts.
Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
Basic knowledge of construction materials, methods, and safety practices.
Good communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn on site.
Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a dynamic project environment.
