Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Landscape Designer role based in Irinjalakuda. The Landscape Designer will develop conceptual and detailed landscape plans, including softscape and hardscape layouts, planting schemes, and outdoor spatial planning. Day-to-day tasks include site visits, measurements, and assessments; creating drawings, sketches, and digital models; coordinating with project managers, contractors, and suppliers; and adapting designs to project budgets and timelines. The role also involves preparing presentations and documentation for clients, ensuring designs meet local regulations and safety standards, and overseeing implementation to maintain design integrity and quality.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Landscape Design and Landscaping for residential, commercial, or public spaces.
Candidates should possess skills in Hardscape design, including pathways, patios, retaining walls, and outdoor structures.
Candidates should possess skills in Planting Plans, including plant selection, layout, and seasonal maintenance considerations.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Landscape Architecture principles, spatial planning, and environmental design.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools) and basic hand-drawing skills.
Strong visual communication, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and produce technical drawings.
Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with clients.
Relevant diploma or degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field is preferred.
