Role Description The Site Incharge will oversee day-to-day activities at the Tarapur project site, including supervision of construction work, coordination of labor and subcontractors, and monitoring of material usage and inventory. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for ensuring that work progresses according to drawings, specifications, and safety guidelines, and that timelines and quality standards are maintained. The Site Incharge will maintain site records, daily progress reports, and communicate regularly with project managers and clients on work status, issues, and resource needs. The role also includes implementing safety practices, resolving on-site operational challenges, and supporting inspections and audits. The Site Incharge will contribute to continuous improvement of site processes and support smooth handover of completed work stages.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong site supervision and construction management skills, including experience handling day-to-day operations at infrastructure or industrial project sites.
Candidates should possess skills in planning and scheduling, including work sequencing, resource allocation, and basic project tracking or documentation.
Candidates should possess abilities in safety and compliance, such as enforcing safety protocols, maintaining a safe work environment, and supporting inspections or regulatory requirements.
Candidates should possess communication and coordination skills, including the ability to interact with workers, subcontractors, engineers, and clients in a clear and professional manner.
Candidates should ideally hold a diploma or degree in civil engineering or a related field, along with prior experience as a Site Incharge or similar supervisory role in construction or infrastructure projects.
Candidates should be comfortable working on-site in Tarapur, be able to work extended hours when project needs arise, and demonstrate problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.
