We are looking for an experienced MOVEit L3 Engineer / Architect to lead the design, administration, support, and optimization of the MOVEit Managed File Transfer (MFT) platform. The role will be responsible for L3 production support, architecture, integrations, security, automation, performance, and platform governance across a global environment
Preferred Certifications / Experience
Progress MOVEit / MFT certifications or equivalent product expertise.
ITIL certification is preferred.
Security certifications are an advantage.
Experience supporting global enterprise environments.
Experience with cloud/hybrid MFT architecture is a plus.
Experience with PCI, SOX, GDPR or other compliance requirements is desirable.

Reduction in recurring file-transfer incidents.
Successful automation of manual file-transfer processes.
Timely resolution of L3 escalations and major incidents.
Secure and compliant file-transfer operations.
Successful platform upgrades, migrations and architectural improvements.
Effective knowledge transfer to L1/L2 support teams
Key Responsibilities
Own the MOVEit MFT platform architecture, design, implementation, and lifecycle management.
Provide L3 technical support for complex production incidents, service requests, and recurring issues.
Design and manage secure file transfer workflows for internal applications, external partners, vendors, and business users.
Configure and troubleshoot MOVEit Transfer / Automation, including workflows, jobs, schedules, notifications, and file-processing rules.
Design and maintain integrations using SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, APIs, REST/SOAP, and other secure transfer protocols.
Develop and optimize MOVEit Automation workflows and scripting to automate file transfers and business processes.
Lead troubleshooting of performance, connectivity, authentication, certificate, encryption, and transfer failures.
Manage high availability, disaster recovery, backup, monitoring, capacity planning, and platform resilience.
Implement and maintain security controls, including encryption, access controls, authentication, certificates, audit logging, and privileged access.
Integrate MOVEit with Active Directory/LDAP, applications, databases, cloud platforms, SIEM, monitoring, and ITSM tools.
Perform platform upgrades, patches, migrations, configuration changes, and version upgrades with minimal business disruption.
Establish monitoring and alerting for critical transfers, failed jobs, storage utilization, system health, and SLA breaches.
Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and implement permanent corrective actions.
Define and maintain technical standards, architecture documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
Work with application, security, infrastructure, network, vendor, and business teams to deliver MFT solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to L1/L2 MOVEit support teams.
Participate in 24x7 on-call / escalation support for critical production services.
Required Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Progress MOVEit Transfer and MOVEit Automation.
