Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for an Automation Panel Wiring and Commissioning professional. The role involves wiring, assembling, and integrating control panels according to electrical drawings, standards, and project specifications. The person in this position will perform on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of automation panels and related equipment, ensuring safe operation and compliance with quality and safety guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting wiring and control issues, coordinating with design and project teams, documenting test results, and supporting corrective actions. The role also requires maintaining tools and equipment, following standard operating procedures, and contributing to process improvements in panel manufacturing and commissioning.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Process Automation and Automation for control panel applications.
Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical and control system issues.
Candidates should possess skills in Test Cases and Quality Assurance to verify panel functionality and ensure compliance with standards.
Solid understanding of electrical circuits, PLCs, control devices, and industrial safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, panel layout drawings, and technical documentation.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
Prior experience in panel wiring, field commissioning, or industrial automation projects is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, ability to work on-site in a workshop and plant environment, and effective communication skills.
