Role Description The Reservations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Cassia Resort in Solan. This role oversees the end-to-end reservations process, including handling inquiries, confirming bookings, managing room inventory, and updating reservation systems accurately. The Reservations Manager responds to guest queries via phone, email, and online channels, ensuring prompt, courteous, and clear communication. Daily activities include coordinating with front office and sales teams, optimizing occupancy and revenue, monitoring booking sources, and preparing reservation reports. The role also involves training and guiding reservations staff, implementing reservation policies, managing special requests and group bookings, and ensuring a smooth guest experience from initial contact to arrival.
Qualifications
Strong reservations and booking management skills, including experience with reservation systems and inventory control.
Excellent customer service and communication skills to handle guest inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain professional interactions.
Proven sales abilities, including upselling, cross-selling, and supporting revenue and occupancy targets.
Experience in training and mentoring team members to ensure consistent service quality and process adherence.
Previous experience in hospitality or hotel operations, ideally in a reservations or front office role.
Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
Comfort with basic computer applications and property management systems; familiarity with online travel agencies is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Solan, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Relevant diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
