Role Description The Sales and Marketing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Amritsar. This role involves managing customer relationships, promoting the company’s food products, and driving sales within assigned territories or channels. Daily responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, conducting sales visits, presenting product information, and maintaining regular follow-ups with existing customers. The specialist will assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, coordinating with production and distribution teams, and monitoring market trends and competitor activity. The role also includes preparing sales reports, supporting training initiatives for internal teams or distributors, and ensuring that customer feedback is captured and communicated effectively.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Candidates should possess proven Sales and Sales Management skills to achieve targets, manage accounts, and support channel growth.
Candidates should possess Training skills to support onboarding and product knowledge sharing for sales teams or distribution partners.
Relevant experience in food products, FMCG, or related industries is beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Amritsar, manage field activities, and travel locally as needed.
Strong organizational, negotiation, and basic data analysis skills for reporting and planning.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience in sales and marketing.
