Role Description The Import Export Specialist will manage day-to-day international trade operations, including coordinating import and export shipments, preparing and reviewing documentation, and ensuring adherence to customs and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include liaising with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and suppliers; monitoring shipment status; resolving issues related to clearance, delays, or documentation; and maintaining accurate records in internal systems. The role also involves cost and rate comparisons, assisting with trade compliance checks, and supporting continuous improvements in logistics and documentation workflows. This is a contract position based in Jaipur with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Import, Export, and Import Export operations.
Candidates should possess skills in International Trade and cross-border regulations.
Candidates should possess skills in Customs Brokerage and customs clearance processes.
Strong knowledge of trade documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin) and basic incoterms.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
Proficiency with standard office software and ERP or logistics management systems is beneficial.
Relevant academic background in international business, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
