Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead end-to-end interior projects, from concept development to on-site execution, for residential and commercial spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with clients to understand requirements, creating design concepts, space plans, and mood boards, and coordinating with consultants, vendors, and contractors. The role involves preparing detailed drawings and specifications, selecting materials and finishes, overseeing FF&E, and ensuring design quality, timelines, and budget adherence. The Senior Interior Designer will mentor junior team members, conduct site visits, and monitor work to ensure design intent and workmanship standards are maintained. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to develop functional and aesthetically compelling layouts.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Architecture and an understanding of building systems to coordinate seamlessly with project stakeholders.
Candidates should possess proficiency in preparing detailed Construction Drawings and technical documentation for execution.
Candidates should possess experience in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, equipment, materials, and finishes that align with design concepts.
Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
Proven experience in managing interior projects independently, preferably at a senior or lead level.
Strong client communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
