Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced US Pharma Recruitment Manager to lead and build our US recruitment function. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for team management, recruitment strategy, sourcing, candidate delivery, MSP/VMS operations, client coordination, and recruiter performance.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting US Pharma, Biotech, Healthcare, or Life Sciences clients, with proven expertise in MSP/VMS recruitment, direct client engagement, team leadership, and recruitment operations.
Key Responsibilities
Build, lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing US recruitment team.
Allocate and manage job requirements based on recruiter expertise, workload, and priority.
Own the end-to-end US recruitment process, from requirement intake through placement and onboarding.
Develop sourcing strategies for high-volume, niche, and difficult-to-fill positions.
Work directly with US clients, hiring managers, MSPs, and Account Managers to understand requirements and improve delivery.
Manage recruitment within MSP/VMS environments, ensuring compliance with client processes and submission requirements.
Monitor and manage jobs, candidate pipelines, submissions, interviews, offers, and placements.
Establish recruiter KPIs, productivity targets, and performance metrics and track them regularly.
Coach recruiters on sourcing, screening, candidate engagement, and submission quality.
Identify recruitment challenges, rejection trends, and process gaps and implement corrective strategies.
Maintain accurate recruitment activities and job information within CEIPAL ATS and Fieldglass VMS.
Drive continuous improvement across sourcing, screening, submission, and recruitment operations.
Prepare and present recruitment performance reports and insights to senior management.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of US Staffing / US Recruitment experience, including significant team leadership experience.
Strong experience recruiting within Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Healthcare, or Life Sciences.
Proven experience working with MSP/VMS recruitment models.
Hands-on experience with CEIPAL ATS and SAP Fieldglass.
Strong knowledge of US recruitment and talent markets.
Hands-on expertise with LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, Boolean Search, and passive sourcing.
Experience creating and managing recruiter KPIs and performance metrics.
Proven experience working directly with US clients, hiring managers, MSPs, or enterprise accounts.
Strong candidate screening, recruitment strategy, coaching, and team-management skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing 5+ US recruiters.
Experience supporting enterprise Pharma/Healthcare MSP programs.
Experience with other VMS platforms such as Beeline or Magnit.
Proven record of improving recruiter productivity, submission quality, interview ratios, and placements.
Experience developing recruitment SOPs, processes, and quality standards.
