Role Description The Interior Designer will work on-site in Indore in a full-time capacity, collaborating with clients and project teams to design and execute residential and commercial interiors. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing space plans, creating detailed drawings, and coordinating FF&E selections that align with project requirements and brand aesthetics. The role involves regular site visits, liaising with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is accurately implemented and timelines are maintained. The Interior Designer will also contribute to vastu-sensitive design solutions when required, support project documentation, and participate in client presentations and reviews.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Architecture and design coordination.
Candidates should possess the ability to develop detailed Construction Drawings and documentation.
Candidates should possess competency in FF&E selection, specification, and coordination.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic 3D visualization skills.
Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
Strong communication, client interaction, and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
Attention to detail, understanding of materials and finishes, and familiarity with local construction practices; knowledge of vastu principles is an advantage.
