Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Reportero role based in Rajkot. The Reportero will gather information related to agricultural equipment, market trends, and customer experiences, and turn these findings into clear, accurate reports and stories. Daily tasks include visiting sites or speaking with stakeholders, collecting data and interviews, and preparing written news-style updates or internal reports. The role involves collaborating with the communications or marketing team to develop multimedia content, such as basic photos or short video clips, that support company messaging. The Reportero is expected to maintain ethical reporting standards, meet deadlines, and ensure that all published information is factual and consistent with company guidelines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills for creating clear, factual, and timely content.
Candidates should possess effective Communication and Writing skills for interviews, stakeholder interaction, and written documentation.
Candidates should possess basic Multimedia skills for supporting content with photos, video, or other visual materials.
Strong attention to detail, ethical judgment, and the ability to verify information from multiple sources.
Ability to work on-site in Rajkot, travel locally as needed, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Fluency in English and relevant local languages, with good grammar and clarity in written communication.
Prior experience in journalism, reporting, or agricultural sector communication is an advantage.
Relevant diploma or degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Languages, or a related field is preferred.
