Contract & Corporate Lawyer – Independent Legal Professional

NyayMitra Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is building a Legal Operations platform that helps startups, SMEs, and growing businesses manage their contracts, legal documentation, compliance, and ongoing legal requirements through structured workflows and access to the right legal professionals.
We are expanding our professional network and looking to onboard experienced lawyers with 5+ years of relevant experience in Contract Drafting and Corporate/Commercial Law.
Role: Contract & Corporate Lawyer – Independent Legal Professional
This is not a full time employment role. The engagement is on an independent, project based basis, where selected lawyers will receive legal assignments from businesses working with NyayMitra.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and revise commercial and corporate agreements.
Handle NDAs, service agreements, vendor agreements, employment agreements, consultancy agreements, SaaS/technology agreements, partnership agreements, and other business contracts.
Conduct legal research and provide legal inputs/opinions as required.
Identify legal and commercial risks in contracts.
Handle contract revisions, negotiations, and client specific requirements.
Understand business requirements and translate them into practical legal documentation.
Manage multiple assignments for different business clients while maintaining quality and agreed timelines.
Coordinate with the NyayMitra team and, where required, communicate directly with clients.
Handle other corporate/commercial legal activities requested by clients within your area of expertise.
Requirements
Qualified Advocate/Lawyer in India.
5+ years of relevant professional experience.
Strong expertise in contract drafting, contract review, and corporate/commercial law.
Excellent legal drafting, research, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Strong understanding of business and commercial requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to independently manage assignments and deadlines.
Experience working with startups, SMEs, technology companies, or growing businesses is preferred.
