We are looking for an experienced Senior AWS Data Engineer with strong expertise in Golang, Python, Snowflake, and AWS Cloud Technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data platforms, data pipelines, and cloud-based analytics solutions while ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks.
Build and optimize cloud-native data solutions on AWS.
Develop high-performance data processing applications using Golang and Python.
Implement and manage enterprise data warehousing solutions using Snowflake.
Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data quality, consistency, and governance.
Collaborate with business, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data platform performance.
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to best practices for data engineering and cloud adoption.
Required Skills
Strong experience in AWS Cloud Services
Hands-on expertise in Snowflake
Proficiency in Python
Strong development experience in Golang
Experience building ETL/ELT Pipelines
Knowledge of Data Warehousing Concepts
Experience with SQL and Performance Optimization
Exposure to AWS Services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, Redshift, ECS/EKS
Experience with CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps Practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
Apache Spark or PySpark
Kafka or Streaming Technologies
Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Data Modeling and Data Governance experience
Preferred Candidate Profile
7+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Strong cloud and data platform development background
Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Exposure to Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets domains is an advantage
