Role Description The Civil / Structural CAD Designer / Draftsman will prepare accurate civil and structural drawings, including general arrangements, reinforcement details, and construction drawings, based on design inputs and engineering standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and updating CAD models, ensuring drawing consistency and clarity, coordinating with design engineers to resolve technical queries, and revising drawings according to review comments. The role also involves organizing drawing files, maintaining drawing logs, and supporting the preparation of documentation for project deliverables. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Thane, requiring close collaboration with the engineering team and adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Technical Drawing and Drawing skills for civil and structural projects.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools relevant to structural and industrial design.
Candidates should possess the ability to develop and interpret Construction Drawings for foundations, structures, and industrial facilities.
Candidates should possess exposure to Design Engineering concepts to understand and convert engineering inputs into accurate drawings.
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from a recognized institution.
Experience in industrial or infrastructure projects, preferably in structural detailing and reinforcement drawings.
Understanding of relevant codes and standards, and familiarity with drawing practices and documentation procedures.
Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, effective communication skills, and willingness to collaborate in an on-site team environment.
