Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in Pratapgarh. The Truck Driver is responsible for operating company trucks safely, following assigned routes, and delivering goods to designated locations on schedule. Daily tasks include inspecting the vehicle before and after trips, loading and unloading materials, securing cargo, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. The role also requires adherence to all traffic laws and DOT-related regulations, communicating effectively with dispatch and customers, and reporting any issues with routes, schedules, or equipment. The Truck Driver is expected to uphold company safety standards and represent Home sarvice professionally at all times.
Qualifications
Strong truck driving skills with experience operating commercial vehicles, including familiarity with different truck types.
Valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving record, with knowledge of applicable DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
Ability to safely handle loading and unloading tasks, including securing cargo and using appropriate equipment as needed.
Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to follow instructions, coordinate with dispatch, and interact respectfully with clients.
Basic skills in vehicle inspection and maintenance reporting, including identifying and communicating mechanical or safety issues.
Reliability in time management, route planning, and record-keeping for logs, delivery notes, and safety documentation.
Physical ability to sit for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in varying weather and traffic conditions.
Prior experience in local or regional trucking or delivery services is preferred; familiarity with Pratapgarh and surrounding areas is an advantage.
