Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a General Manager. The General Manager will oversee daily operations, ensure alignment with business goals, and drive performance across functional areas such as operations, finance, sales, and customer service. Responsibilities include developing and implementing business strategies, setting targets, monitoring key performance indicators, and optimizing processes for efficiency and quality. The role involves leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, managing budgets and resource allocation, and coordinating with senior leadership on strategic initiatives. The General Manager will also address operational risks, support business development efforts, and maintain strong relationships with partners, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and people management skills, including team-building, performance management, and mentoring.
Proven experience in operations management, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination.
Solid business acumen with strengths in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial oversight.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in remote and distributed environments.
Ability to analyze data, interpret KPIs, and make informed decisions to improve efficiency and growth.
Prior experience in the energy sector or related industries is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
Comfort with digital collaboration tools and remote work practices, with a high degree of self-motivation and accountability.
