Role Description As a Full Stack Developer (Intern) at TravoBuds, you will work on both front-end and back-end components of our web application, helping to build and improve core product features.
On a day-to-day basis, you will implement responsive user interfaces, develop APIs, integrate databases, and support AI-driven trip planning features. You will collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into clean, efficient code, and participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain performance and reliability.
This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Bengaluru (3–6 months). You will learn from experienced engineers and contribute to a fast-moving startup environment. PPO may be considered for outstanding performers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and improve web features using Next.js, React, and TypeScript (discover, trips, bookings, agent dashboard).
Develop and maintain REST APIs using Node.js, Express, and Prisma with PostgreSQL.
Integrate third-party services such as Razorpay (payments), Cloudinary (media), and real-time chat (Socket.io).
Support AI-assisted trip and package planning flows on the backend and web UI.
Write clear, tested code; fix bugs; participate in code reviews.
Work with mobile (React Native / Expo) occasionally when needed for cross-platform features.
Qualifications
Strong foundational skills in Software Development and Full-Stack Development, with the ability to work across both client and server sides.
Proficiency in Front-End Development, including modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for building responsive interfaces.
Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, such as working with APIs, server-side frameworks, and databases.
Understanding of web application architecture, version control (e.g., Git), and basic testing/debugging practices.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to learn quickly, collaborate in a team setting, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced startup environment.
Interest in travel, consumer apps, or community-driven platforms is a plus.
