Role Description The Account Assistant role at Rejuvenate Jewels is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Account Assistant will handle daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, managing petty cash, and supporting credit control activities. The role involves preparing and updating ledgers, assisting with invoicing, reconciling accounts, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies. The Account Assistant will support finance reporting, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards. This position requires close collaboration with management and other departments to provide reliable financial data that supports business decisions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess accounting and finance skills, including experience with basic bookkeeping, ledgers, and financial record-keeping.
Candidates should possess credit control skills, including monitoring outstanding payments, following up with clients, and helping manage receivables.
Candidates should possess petty cash management skills, including accurate tracking of expenses and reconciliation of cash balances.
Candidates should possess strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, strong attention to detail, and good numerical aptitude.
Relevant educational background in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to timelines.
