📌 Position Overview
We are seeking highly qualified academic experts, researchers, and senior industry professionals to join our university as Guest Faculty for our premier Online MS Program in Aerospace Engineering.
The ideal candidate will combine rigorous academic credentials with deep domain expertise to deliver world-class, asynchronous and synchronous instruction to a global cohort of working professionals and postgraduates. You will be responsible for preparing, updating, and delivering specialized advanced modules, ensuring students gain a highly relevant blend of theoretical knowledge and industrial application.
🎯 Key Responsibilitie
1. Curriculum & Content Delivery
Deliver high-quality online lectures using contemporary Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Canvas, Blackboard, or Moodle.
Conduct live, interactive weekly webinars, doubt-clearing sessions, and virtual office hours.
Integrate industrial case studies, simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, ANSYS, CFD solvers), and real-world compliance paradigms into the coursework.
2. Student Evaluation & Mentorship
Design rigorous and relevant online assessments, quizzes, mid-term examinations, and final capstone projects.
Evaluate student submissions timely and provide constructive, qualitative feedback.
Guide and mentor postgraduate students on their technical papers, thesis ideas, or advanced simulation projects.
3. Industry Alignment
Bridge the gap between academic theory and active sector requirements (e.g., commercial aviation standards, ISRO/DRDO/HAL defense design workflows, or commercial space-tech paradigms).
🔬 Core Specializations Needed (Select Branches)
Candidates must possess specialized expertise in one or more of the following key domains:
Avionics & Control Systems: Flight control computing, embedded VLSI architectures, radar technologies, guidance navigation & control (GNC), and autonomous drone systems.
Aerodynamics & Fluid Dynamics: Advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), hypersonics, aeroacoustics, and fluid-structure interactions.
Propulsion Systems: Rocket propulsion, air-breathing engines, combustion dynamics, and electric propulsion technologies.
Structures & Materials: Composite materials, structural health monitoring (SHM), finite element analysis (FEA), and aerospace additive manufacturing.
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
Education: A Ph.D. or an equivalent terminal degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electronics (Avionics Focus) Engineering from a tier-1 institute or universally recognized international university.
Alternative Exception: Exceptional industry practitioners holding a Master's degree with 10+ years of senior executive/scientific experience at major defense labs or aerospace giants (e.g., DRDO, ISRO, HAL, Boeing, Airbus, Airbus, Collins) will be strongly considered.
Technical Skills: High proficiency in engineering software (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Catia, SolidWorks, Ansys Fluent, OpenFOAM).
Soft Skills: Outstanding communication and presentation skills tailored for a digital environment. Prior experience managing online engineering cohorts or developing virtual lab modules is highly preferred.
