Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Haridwar. The Mechanical Engineer will design and develop mechanical systems and components for AGVs and AMRs, including frames, mechanisms, and load-bearing structures. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing CAD models and drawings, performing design calculations, and supporting prototyping, testing, and validation activities. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams on R&D projects, optimizing designs for manufacturability and reliability, and contributing to continuous improvement of existing products. The Mechanical Engineer will also assist in project planning, documentation, and coordination with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering fundamentals, including mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design and mechanical system development for industrial or robotic applications.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, detailed drawings, and assemblies.
Candidates should possess capabilities in Project Management to plan tasks, track progress, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D) skills for prototyping, testing, and iterative improvement of mechanical designs.
Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Beneficial experience includes exposure to robotics, automation, industrial vehicles, or outdoor mobile machinery.
Additional desirable skills include problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, clear technical communication, and familiarity with relevant standards and safety practices.
