Role Description This internship role focuses on photography, videography, and basic conservation support for artworks and jewellery at Galleria VSB. The intern will capture high-quality photographs and video content of artworks, exhibitions, and events for documentation, marketing, and archival purposes. Day-to-day tasks include setting up lighting and equipment, organizing and editing visual content, and assisting in the careful handling, cleaning, and storage of pieces under guidance. The intern will also help maintain digital archives, support social media or website content with images and short videos, and collaborate with the gallery team on visual storytelling projects. This is an on-site internship role based in Saket.
Qualifications
Strong photography and videography skills, including knowledge of composition, lighting, and camera operation.
Proficiency with photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or similar tools).
Attention to detail and interest in art conservation, including careful handling of artworks, jewellery, and sculptures.
Organizational skills for managing visual files, maintaining archives, and supporting documentation processes.
Genuine interest in Indian art, heritage, and design, with a willingness to learn from curators and designers.
Ability to work on-site in Saket, collaborate effectively with a small team, and follow conservation and safety guidelines.
Relevant academic background or coursework in photography, visual arts, design, museum studies, or related fields is an advantage.
Basic familiarity with social media or digital platforms for showcasing visual content is beneficial.
