Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Chartered Accountant at MY DREAM CONSULTANT. The Chartered Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including preparing financial statements, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accurate recording of transactions. The role involves tax planning and compliance, filing returns, and staying updated with relevant tax laws and regulations. The professional will conduct audits, review financial records, identify variances, and recommend process improvements for clients. The Chartered Accountant will also provide financial analysis, budgeting support, and advisory services, communicate directly with clients, and collaborate with internal team members to deliver timely, accurate, and compliant financial solutions.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and corporate finance; ability to prepare and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Proficiency in tax laws, compliance, and return filing for individuals and businesses; experience in tax planning and risk mitigation.
Experience in audit procedures, internal control assessment, and documentation; ability to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Comfort with accounting software and digital tools (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms); strong skills in MS Excel and other office productivity applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain financial concepts clearly to clients and collaborate effectively with remote teams.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills; capacity to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
Recognized Chartered Accountant qualification (CA) or equivalent professional certification; bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Prior experience in public practice, consulting, or corporate accounting is preferred; familiarity with Indian financial regulations and compliance frameworks is an advantage.
