About DIPA: DIPA, formerly known as the Tower and Infrastructure Providers Association (TAIPA), is the voice of India’s digital infrastructure industry.
Established in 2010, DIPA is an apex industry association and think tank representing the Digital Infrastructure and Infrastructure Provider ecosystem. The Association works closely with government ministries, regulators, industry stakeholders and technology partners to enable the growth of India’s digital infrastructure.
DIPA’s membership and engagement ecosystem spans telecom infrastructure, fibre, data centres, EV charging infrastructure, energy storage and other emerging digital infrastructure segments, all contributing to India’s transition towards a connected, sustainable and technology-driven economy.
About the Role: We are looking for a Research & Policy Analyst who is curious about public policy, sustainability, energy transition and technology, and wants to build a career at the intersection of policy, research, digital infrastructure and India’s green transition.
This is an entry-level opportunity, and fresh graduates with strong conceptual knowledge, research ability and a genuine interest in public policy are encouraged to apply.

The role will provide exposure to policy developments across multiple sectors rather than being restricted to a single policy domain.
What You Will Do:
· Track & analyse policy, regulatory and industry developments across key ministries, regulators and states.
· Conduct research on digital infrastructure, energy transition, sustainability and emerging technology.
· Develop insights into policy briefs, research papers, consultation submissions, concept notes and presentations.
· Identify policy & implementation gaps and support the development of evidence-based industry recommendations.
· Support stakeholder engagement with government bodies, regulators, industry members and subject-matter experts.
· Work closely with DIPA leadership on high-impact policy issues and advocacy initiatives.
· Build and maintain policy trackers, databases and data-driven insights to support decision-making.
Who We’re Looking For:
Strong interest in public policy, sustainability, energy transition, technology or infrastructure.
Good understanding of India's policy and regulatory ecosystem.
Strong research, analytical and written communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret government notifications, regulations, reports and policy documents.
Ability to simplify complex information and communicate it clearly.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Education: Graduates with a background in or strong academic interest in:
Public Policy
Economics
Environmental Studies / Sustainability
Energy & Renewable Energy
Development Studies
Political Science
Law
Engineering / Technology
Infrastructure or related disciplines
