Role Description The Chartered Accountant – Co Founder role at Verdicto is a full-time, on-site position based in Ghaziabad. This role involves overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and compliance, including tax, GST, and regulatory filings, to ensure the platform operates with strong financial discipline and adherence to relevant laws. The person in this role will help shape the business strategy, collaborate on product and pricing decisions, and contribute to building scalable financial and legal service offerings for individuals and businesses. Daily responsibilities include reviewing financial reports, optimizing cost structures, coordinating with legal and technical teams, and ensuring accurate, compliant financial processes across the platform. As a co-founder, the individual will also be actively involved in fundraising support, stakeholder communication, and overall business growth initiatives.
Qualifications
Professional chartered accountancy qualification (CA) with strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, GST, and compliance.
Experience in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis for startups, SMEs, or technology-driven businesses.
Ability to design and oversee robust internal controls, audit processes, and risk management frameworks.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with prior exposure to co-founding, leadership, or senior finance roles.
Comfort with technology platforms, data-driven decision-making, and collaboration with product and engineering teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain financial and compliance matters clearly.
High level of integrity, accountability, and ownership, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Experience with fundraising support, investor reporting, or startup ecosystems in India is an advantage.
