Role Description The CA Articleship and Graduate Paid Assistants role is an internship position based on-site at the firm’s office in Delhi, India. The role involves supporting audit and assurance engagements, including vouching, verification of financial records, and preparation of working papers under supervision. Interns assist in tax computation, filing of returns, and documentation for both direct and indirect tax matters. The role also includes contributing to forensic audits, insolvency support assignments, and transaction advisory work through data collection, analysis, and drafting of reports. Day-to-day responsibilities further cover maintaining client documentation, using accounting and tax software, and collaborating with team members to meet engagement timelines while adhering to professional standards.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing CA (Articleship) or a graduate in commerce, accounting, or finance with strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles.
Understanding of audit and assurance procedures, including documentation, internal controls, and financial statement analysis.
Basic knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, including tax laws, compliance requirements, and return preparation.
Ability to work with financial data, perform reconciliations, and use MS Excel and accounting software efficiently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively in a professional team environment.
Willingness to learn, adapt to new assignments such as forensic audits and insolvency support, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
