Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Delhi, India. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished videos, including cutting, trimming, and sequencing clips to create clear and compelling narratives. Daily tasks include syncing audio, adding transitions, titles, and motion graphics, applying color correction and grading, and preparing files for various platforms and formats. The role involves close collaboration with directors, producers, and other team members to interpret briefs, incorporate feedback, and maintain brand and style consistency across projects. The Video Editor will also organize and manage media assets, maintain project archives, and stay current with industry trends, tools, and editing techniques.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading and basic color correction to ensure visual consistency and quality.
Ability to create Motion Graphics and integrate Graphics elements such as titles, lower thirds, and visual overlays.
Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).
Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and export settings for web, social, and broadcast.
Strong storytelling sense, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines while managing multiple projects.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative improvement.
Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating prior work is required.
