Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Draftsman role based in Lucknow. The Draftsman will prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings, plans, and layouts using CAD software and other drafting tools. Daily tasks include interpreting design concepts, collaborating with engineers and architects, updating drawings based on feedback, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role involves maintaining organized drawing documentation, coordinating with site teams to clarify design details, and supporting the preparation of bills of quantities or material lists when required.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD) and other drafting tools relevant to architectural and structural drawings.
Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and standards, with the ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing drawings, layouts, and revisions, with good organizational and documentation skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with architects, engineers, and site teams, including the ability to clarify design requirements.
Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field; prior experience as a Draftsman in construction is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Lucknow in a full-time capacity and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting; familiarity with 3D modeling or BIM tools is a plus.
