Jr. Logistic Executive

The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:
Export Shipment Coordination:
Arrange and book containers with shipping lines or freight forwarders as per export schedules.
Follow up on container availability, sailing schedules, and freight rates.
Coordinate movement of cargo from supplier/factory to port (CHA, transporters, and warehouses).
Documentation Management:
Prepare and finalise Bill of Lading (BL) drafts and ensure accuracy with purchase orders and shipping instructions.
Ensure all shipping documents (invoice, packing list, COO, MSDS, declarations, etc. ) are accurate and received on time.
Maintain documentation files for each shipment.
Customs and Compliance:
Prepare and verify customs clearance checklists.
Coordinate with CHA for export documentation, customs filing, and duty-related processes.
Ensure compliance with export regulations and customer-specific requirements.
Shipment Tracking and Updates:
Monitor online tracking of all export shipments until final delivery.
Maintain shipment status reports and proactively update internal teams and customers.
Highlight any delays, rollovers, or exceptions immediately.
Coordination and Communication:
Liaise with suppliers, transporters, warehouses, shipping lines, and customers for smooth logistics execution.
Share pre-alerts, shipment updates, and dispatch documents with customers.
Support troubleshooting in case of logistics issues, documentation problems, or shipment delays.
Reporting and Administration:
Maintain MIS/logistics trackers for shipments, freight costs, vessel schedules, and document status.
Assist in vendor invoice verification related to freight, CHA, and transportation.
Support internal audits and ensure records are updated.
