Role Description The Mathematics Subject Matter Expert (SME) will design, develop, and review academic content in Mathematics for various levels, including school, university, and competitive examinations. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating clear and accurate solutions for textbooks and assessments, developing practice questions and tests, preparing explanatory notes and step-by-step solutions, and supporting the creation of video lectures and live Q&A sessions. The role involves collaborating with content editors and instructional designers to ensure academic rigor, alignment with curricula, and learner-friendly explanations. This is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi, requiring consistent presence and coordination with the local team.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong expertise in core Mathematics domains (e.g., algebra, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, probability, statistics).
Candidates should possess skills in academic content development, including problem-solving, solution writing, and creation of assessments and practice materials.
Candidates should possess competencies in explaining complex concepts clearly, step-by-step reasoning, and structuring content for different academic levels and exams.
Candidates should possess abilities in reviewing and proofreading mathematical content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to guidelines.
Master’s degree or higher in Mathematics or a closely related field is preferred; strong performance in competitive exams or teaching experience is an advantage.
Comfort with using digital tools for content creation (e.g., LaTeX, equation editors, learning platforms) and collaboration software.
Excellent written English, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, content-focused environment.
Commitment to learner-centered education, openness to feedback, and willingness to work on-site in New Delhi as part of a collaborative team.
