Role Description The Legal Associate will work full time on-site at the Cuttack and Bhadrak office, supporting the firm in handling a variety of legal matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing contracts, petitions, notices, and other legal documents, and assisting in case preparation. The role involves analyzing facts and legal issues, preparing case summaries, and supporting senior lawyers during client meetings, negotiations, and court proceedings. The Legal Associate will maintain case files, track deadlines, and communicate with clients and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner. The role also includes staying updated on relevant laws, regulations, and judgments to support high-quality legal advice and representation.
Qualifications.
We are looking for individuals who have a genuine interest in litigation, legal research and legal drafting and are eager to develop their professional skills through practical exposure to legal proceedings before the District Courts of Odisha and the High Court of Odisha.
📌 ELIGIBILITY
• LL.B. (3-Year / 5-Year) from a recognized University
• Freshers and Final-Year Law Students are eligible to apply
• Good legal drafting and research skills
• Basic understanding of legal procedures and court practices
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Willingness to learn, take responsibility and grow in a professional legal environment
• Ability to work with dedication, discipline and attention to detail

💼 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / WORK PROFILE
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of legal matters and may be involved in:
• Assisting in matters before the District Courts of Odisha and High Court of Odisha
• Assisting in preparation and conduct of court proceedings and hearings
• Drafting petitions, applications, replies, affidavits, legal notices, pleadings and other legal documents
• Conducting detailed legal research and case-law analysis
• Assisting in preparation of case briefs, legal opinions and case-related documentation
• Reviewing and analysing relevant laws, judgments and legal provisions
• Assisting in client coordination and providing case-related updates
• Maintaining proper case records and documentation
• Working closely with advocates and the legal team on ongoing matters
• Developing practical understanding of litigation, court procedures and professional legal practice
💰 REMUNERATION
Remuneration will be decided based on the candidate’s ability, skills, experience and overall suitability for the role.
