Role Description The Production Manager will oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities for jewelry production at the Jaipur facility, ensuring that orders are completed on time and meet quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for planning production schedules, coordinating resources, and supervising production teams to maintain smooth workflow. The role includes monitoring inventory of materials, implementing process improvements, and enforcing safety and quality procedures across the production floor. The Production Manager will collaborate with design, procurement, and sales teams to align production capacity with client requirements and delivery timelines. The position also involves tracking performance metrics, resolving operational issues, and mentoring team members to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Experience in production management or manufacturing operations, preferably in jewelry, fashion, or related industries.
Strong skills in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
Ability to supervise and motivate production staff, with a focus on teamwork, communication, and fair leadership.
Knowledge of quality control practices, safety standards, and basic workflow optimization in a factory or workshop setting.
Comfort with using production reports, spreadsheets, or basic ERP tools to track output, inventory, and timelines.
Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to maintaining high workmanship standards.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in production, operations, engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Willingness to work on-site in Jaipur and coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors as needed.
