About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Tech Lead) to lead the design, development, and evolution of a modern enterprise web platform.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for driving architecture and technical decisions, mentoring engineers, establishing engineering standards, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
The Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Tech Lead) will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and QA teams while providing technical leadership across backend services, frontend applications, platform architecture, and engineering practices.
Requirements
Experience
6–10 years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong experience developing and maintaining production-grade web applications.
Proven experience working across both frontend and backend technologies.
Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, or owning technical modules.
Programming
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
Strong hands-on experience with React.
Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
Backend
Strong experience with NestJS; Express.js or Fastify experience is also valuable.
Strong understanding of REST API design and development.
Experience with authentication and authorization.
Strong PostgreSQL and SQL knowledge.
Understanding of database design, relationships, indexing, transactions, and query optimization.
Experience with backend architecture, services, modules, validation, error handling, and middleware.
Frontend
Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
Experience building reusable, component-driven applications.
Experience with state management and API integration.
Strong understanding of responsive web development.
Ability to build maintainable frontend architecture and user interfaces.
Infrastructure and Engineering Tools
Experience with Docker.
Experience with Redis or similar caching/background-processing technologies.
Strong understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows.
Experience with CI/CD processes and deployment workflows.
Solid understanding of Linux-based development and production environments.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Lead architecture, system design, and technical design discussions.
Make informed technical decisions and communicate architectural trade-offs.
Define engineering standards, coding practices, and development guidelines.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
Mentor Junior and Mid-Level Engineers and support their technical growth.
Identify technical risks and recommend scalable and maintainable solutions.
Drive technical excellence across frontend and backend development.
Participate in sprint planning, technical reviews, and engineering discussions.
Backend Development
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and NestJS.
Build secure, reliable, and well-structured REST APIs.
Design and optimize relational database schemas using PostgreSQL and SQL.
Implement authentication, authorization, permissions, and secure API communication.
Develop business logic and service-layer architecture following clean separation of concerns.
Optimize application performance, database queries, and backend workflows.
Implement background processing and asynchronous workflows where required.
Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
Troubleshoot complex backend and production issues.
Frontend Development
Design and develop modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components.
Develop responsive interfaces that work across common browsers and screen sizes.
Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
Implement forms, dashboards, tables, filters, modals, workflows, and other product interfaces.
Manage application state using appropriate state-management patterns and tools.
Handle loading, error, empty, validation, and success states appropriately.
Work closely with Product and Design teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
Platform and Architecture
Design and improve scalable enterprise web application architecture.
Build secure authentication and authorization systems.
Contribute to multi-tenant application architecture and tenant-aware data handling.
Improve application reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Support monitoring, observability, logging, and production troubleshooting.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Apply security and engineering best practices across the application stack.
Support containerized application development using Docker.
Collaboration and Mentorship
Partner closely with Product, Design, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams.
Translate product requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
Help teams identify technical dependencies, risks, and edge cases.
Mentor developers through code reviews, technical discussions, and hands-on guidance.
Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
