Role Description The Writer role at CodeInYourSelf is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat. In this role, you will craft clear, engaging, and accessible content that communicates the organization’s mission, programs, and student success stories across websites, blogs, social media, and marketing campaigns. You will collaborate with educators, mentors, and the marketing team to translate technical subjects like Data Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Full Stack Development, and Data Engineering into understandable narratives for students and employers. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching topics, interviewing internal stakeholders or alumni, drafting and editing content, ensuring consistency with the brand voice, and meeting deadlines for multiple projects. You will also help refine messaging strategies to reach aspiring professionals and partner organizations while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
Qualifications
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise content for diverse audiences.
Ability to research educational, technical, and career-related topics and turn complex concepts into accessible, engaging narratives.
Experience creating web, blog, and social media content, preferably in education, technology, or career-development domains.
Basic understanding or keen interest in fields such as Data Analytics, AI & ML, Cloud Computing, Full Stack Development, or Data Engineering.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and manage multiple deadlines.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to planning and delivering content.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Comfort working on-site in Surat and engaging directly with students, mentors, and staff to gather stories and insights.
