Job Title: Application Engineer – Security Design & EstimationRole Summary
We are looking for an Application Engineer to support security system design and estimation for UK & Ireland presales projects. The role requires strong technical understanding, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities
Design security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Alarm, Intercom)
Prepare BOQ and cost estimations
Lead complex security jobs including Data centers
Handle multiple designers involved in job
Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents
coordinate with multiple vendors and stakeholders
Ensure accurate and timely submission of designs and estimates
Coordinate with internal teams to clarify requirements
Maintain quality and minimise rework
Conduct quality checks of both personal work and team deliverables to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to quality standards
Required Skills & Experience
Experience in security system design and estimation
Minimum Exp 5+ required
Good understanding of technical drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
