We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer who's excited to build innovative technologies that define the future of live streaming. Successful candidates for this position demonstrate the ability to multitask, quickly adapt to new development environments and changing business requirements, learn new systems, create reliable/maintainable code, find creative and scalable solutions to difficult problems, and communicate clearly and concisely both in writing and orally. Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership and vision to the experiences and services teams.
Ensure that the best engineering practices are followed and that our software is designed to be responsive, reliable, and maintainable.
Work closely with other teams in Prime Video and Amazon to architect solutions that will scale to hundreds of millions of customers.
Requirements:
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Experience programming with at least one modern language, such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
