Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Architect and build microservices, APIs, and event-driven/asynchronous workflows for enterprise applications.
Build and optimize backend platforms that seamlessly integrate with AI agents, automation workflows, and external enterprise systems.
Own the technical architecture of backend services, ensuring scalability, security, reliability, observability, and performance.
Lead the design and implementation of distributed systems by driving architectural decisions, design reviews, and engineering best practices.
Lead backend engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and hands-on problem-solving while fostering engineering excellence.
Collaborate closely with product managers, AI/ML engineers, domain experts, DevOps teams, and customers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Drive engineering quality through secure coding practices, automated testing, performance optimization, and production readiness.
Identify and resolve technical risks, bottlenecks, and architectural challenges throughout the software development lifecycle.
Contribute to technology roadmap planning, technical hiring, and continuous improvement of engineering processes and development standards.
Requirements:
Core Skills: Java Spring (Boot, Cloud, Data JPA) and microservices architecture, PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, and polyglot persistence, Docker, Kubernetes, and API-first design, Security (JWT, OAuth2), testing (JUnit 5 Mockito, TestContainers), Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, distributed tracing).
