DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Design: Design and manage secure, scalable cloud-native systems on AWS, including VPC, IAM, EC2 S3 RDS, ECR, Route 53 and Secrets Manager.
Automation: Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployments using Terraform, Pulumi, and scripting (Python/Bash).
CI/CD: Build and maintain pipelines using Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD with GitOps practices.
Containerisation: Deploy and manage microservices using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) with Helm, HPA, RBAC, and IRSA.
Advanced Kubernetes: Implement Karpenter, Istio service mesh, mTLS, and canary deployments.
Monitoring and Reliability: Implement observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and OpenSearch.
Streaming Systems: Work with Kafka, MSK, and Schema Registry for scalable data pipelines.
Security: Implement container security, IAM best practices, TLS/SSL, and shift-left security.
Incident Management: Handle incidents, perform RCA, and improve system reliability.
Cost Optimisation: Optimise infrastructure cost and performance through scaling and resource management.
AI Integration: Work with AWS Bedrock, including inference profiles and ARNs.
Requirements:
Experience: 5+ years in DevOps and infrastructure engineering.
AWS Expertise: Strong hands-on with VPC, IAM, EC2 S3 RDS, ECR, Route 53 and Secrets Manager.
Kubernetes: Deep experience with EKS, Helm, HPA, RBAC, IRSA, Karpenter, and Istio.
CI/CD: Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD.
IaC: Terraform (preferred), Pulumi, AWS CDK.
Observability: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenSearch.
Security: IAM, RBAC, container security.
Operations: Incident management and reliability engineering.
Preferred / Bonus Skills:
AWS Bedrock and AI/ML infrastructure experience.
Experience with service mesh (Istio) and mTLS.
ML Ops tools (Kubeflow and MLflow).
Cost optimisation at scale.
Odoo deployment experience.
Certifications (Preferred):
AWS Solutions Architect / GCP / Azure.
CKA or CKAD.
Terraform Associate.
