The core responsibilities for the job include the following:
Development and System Customization:
Design, develop, and maintain custom functionality within the IFS ERP platform to support business operations and process automation.
Develop and optimize business logic, stored procedures, packages, and database objects using PL/SQL and IFS development frameworks.
Configure and customize IFS Aurena pages, lobbies, projections, custom fields, and client extensions to enhance user experience and system usability.
Integrations and Data Management:
Develop, maintain, and support integrations between IFS ERP and third-party systems using REST APIs, OData services, IFS Connect, and middleware solutions.
Build operational reports, management dashboards, and analytical solutions using IFS reporting and business intelligence tools.
Design and execute data migration and data conversion activities, including extraction, transformation, validation, and loading using PL/SQL scripts.
Lifecycle and Support Operations:
Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement optimizations to improve ERP system efficiency and stability.
Investigate and resolve production incidents, defects, and system issues within agreed service levels.
Support ERP upgrades, patch implementations, and environment migrations while minimizing business disruption.
Collaboration and Documentation:
Collaborate closely with functional consultants, business analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Prepare and maintain technical specifications, solution designs, integration documentation, and development standards documentation.
Ensure compliance with development best practices, coding standards, security requirements, and change management procedures.
Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to internal teams and end users where required.
Requirements:
IFS Development Tools: Hands-on experience with IFS Developer Studio, Page Designer, Report Designer, Projection Designer, and Lobby development tools.
Database and PL/SQL: Strong PL/SQL programming experience, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning. Experience with Oracle databases, including SQL optimization and query performance tuning.
Integrations: Strong understanding of REST APIs, OData services, and IFS Connect integrations.
Tools and Methodologies: Experience using Git version control and collaborative software development practices. Familiarity with SDLC processes, code reviews, testing, and deployment methodologies.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, paired with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
