We are hiring experienced cloud professionals for our OCI-focused cloud and network operations team. The role involves managing and securing multi-cloud network infrastructure, firewall policies, cloud connectivity, and automation across enterprise environments. We are looking for candidates with strong hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, along with exposure to other cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and, optionally, Google Cloud.
Responsibilities:
Manage and support OCI cloud networking components.
Configure and troubleshoot: VCN, subnets, route tables, security lists, NSGs, DRG, Fast Connect, load balancers, and VPN connectivity.
Handle firewall and security policy implementation.
Perform network troubleshooting across cloud and hybrid environments.
Support cloud-to-cloud and on-premises connectivity.
Work with multi-cloud environments, including AWS and Azure.
Implement and maintain secure network architecture based on enterprise and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams.
Participate in incident management, RCA, and change implementation.
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Support automation initiatives using scripting or infrastructure as code (IaC).
Additional Responsibilities - L3
Lead cloud network design and architecture discussions.
Handle complex troubleshooting and major incident resolution.
Review and optimise firewall/security policies.
Guide L2 engineers and support technical escalations.
Drive automation and standardisation initiatives.
Participate in governance, audit, and compliance activities.
Work closely with the project and solution architecture teams.
The core requirements for the job include the following:
OCI Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in OCI networking services.
Experience with: VCN Peering, DRG Routing, Fast Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, Security Lists and NSGs, OCI Load Balancers, WAF concepts, Hybrid connectivity
Networking Skills (Mandatory):
Candidates must have strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, the OSI model, routing and switching, CIDR/subnetting, NAT, VLAN, DNS/DHCP, BGP, VPN, Layer 3/Layer 4 concepts, network troubleshooting, and traffic flow analysis.
Firewall and Security Knowledge: Palo Alto / Check Point / Fortinet firewall understanding, security policy management, rule creation and optimisation, URL filtering and application rules, inbound/outbound traffic control, and firewall troubleshooting and log analysis.
Cloud Knowledge (Preferred): Exposure to one or more of the following: AWS and Azure. GCP.
Preferred services: VPC/VNet networking, Security Groups / NSG, Transit Gateway / Virtual WAN, cloud load balancers, IAM basics, and cloud routing concepts.
Automation and DevOps Skills: Preferred hands-on knowledge in Terraform, shell scripting, Python, Ansible, CI/CD concepts, Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Relevant cloud certifications preferred: OCI Certification, AWS Certification, Azure Certification, and networking/security certifications preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Have strong troubleshooting capability.
Can work in enterprise cloud environments.
Understand cloud security and networking deeply.
Are proactive and automation-focused.
Have good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Can work in a 24x7 support/project environment if required.
