Senior Architect

The Senior Architect will lead the planning, design, and execution of architectural projects across commercial, office, and specialized sector spaces. This full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad involves developing concept designs, preparing detailed drawings, and coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained through all project stages. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and refining architectural plans, integrating technical and functional requirements, overseeing design documentation, and monitoring project progress against timelines and budgets. The Senior Architect will also support client presentations, provide expert guidance on materials and standards, and contribute to design innovation and quality control across the portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Oversee Civil and Interior (C& I) finishing works, ensuring high-quality standards in materials, workmanship, and detailing.
Conduct quality control (QC) checks at all project stages, including finishing, installation, and handover.
Ensure all C& I activities align with approved drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors to resolve finishing and QC-related site issues.
Prepare and maintain QC reports, site inspection logs, and snag/defect lists, ensuring timely rectification before handover.
Requirements:
Strong foundation in architecture and architectural design, including concept development, space planning, and construction detailing.
Experience in project management, with skills in planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.
Understanding of integration between architectural design and building systems (structural, MEP, and interior design coordination).
Ability to collaborate with software development teams when required for design visualization, BIM tools, or project management platforms.
Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e. g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar).
Thorough knowledge of building codes, regulations, sustainability principles, and safety standards.
Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
Proven experience in commercial, office, or institutional projects, preferably within health, education, or retail sectors.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members.
Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
