Responsibilities:
Own operational stability of existing robots, automation scripts and production workflows.
Lead troubleshooting of bot failures, API issues, environment issues, queue failures and scheduled job exceptions.
Drive root cause analysis and permanent fixes to reduce repeat incidents and manual interventions.
Manage and guide RPA developers, DevOps engineers and business analysts across delivery and support activities.
Allocate work, review progress, remove blockers and ensure delivery against agreed timelines, quality and service levels.
Coach team members on coding standards, documentation, testing discipline and production support practices.
Define and maintain DevOps ways of working for RPA and Python-based automation solutions.
Set up or govern CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or equivalent tools.
Ensure source code versioning, pull requests, code review, build validation, deployment approvals and rollback plans.
Coordinate environment readiness across development, test, UAT and production environments.
Review automation solution designs for scalability, maintainability, exception handling, security and performance.
Ensure Python, API, SQL, JSON, XPath and RPA components follow agreed development and naming standards.
Review technical specifications, deployment notes, configuration documents and operational runbooks.
Maintain SOX-compliant records for all system changes, access changes, releases and emergency fixes.
Ensure audit evidence, approvals, segregation of duties and production deployment controls are complete and traceable.
Ensure unit, integration, regression and UAT test coverage for automation releases.
Review functional specifications, technical specifications, test evidence, runbooks and user documentation.
Ensure business sign-off, defect closure and deployment readiness before production release.
Build team capability in RPA, Python, APIs, DevOps, observability, secure coding and business process understanding.
Promote reusable automation components, templates, libraries and common coding practices across the team.
Manage multiple incidents, RFCs, releases, enhancements and project deliverables simultaneously.
Contribute to enterprise rollouts, process standardisation, automation roadmap execution and post-go-live stabilisation.
Provide status reporting, risk escalation and stakeholder communication for leadership review.
