SDE - 2 - Backend

As an SDE-II (Backend), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling backend services that power Arintra's core products. You will work closely with Product, AI, and Engineering teams to build highly available, secure, and scalable systems while contributing to architecture and technical design decisions.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Build high-performance distributed systems capable of handling large-scale workloads and enterprise use cases.
Develop and optimize cloud-native applications on AWS while ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, performance optimization, and engineering best practices.
Requirements:
3-6 years of hands-on backend development experience.
Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming principles.
Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and RESTful APIs.
Experience building and deploying applications on AWS (EC2 ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3 RDS, CloudWatch, etc. ).
Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, System Design, and Database Fundamentals.
Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and caching technologies like Redis
Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native application development.
Good to Have:
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, observability, and monitoring tools.
