Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerised applications.
Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines.
Automate operational tasks using Python scripts.
Monitor application and infrastructure health using Grafana, New Relic, and cloud-native monitoring tools.
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability and performance.
Manage cloud infrastructure and IAM policies following security best practices.
Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
1-3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Strong understanding of Kubernetes (K8S) fundamentals, including deployments, services, pods, namespaces, and basic troubleshooting.
Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and operational tasks.
Experience with Docker for containerization and image management.
Knowledge of monitoring and observability, including: Log monitoring, Metrics collection, Dashboard creation and maintenance.
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and New Relic.
Good understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts, including users, roles, permissions, and policies across cloud environments.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
Basic knowledge of Linux system administration.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and firewalls.
