Requirements:
7+ years of hands-on experience in SDET and QA automation, including experience leading quality initiatives across multiple teams or products.
Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise with the ability to read production code, identify testability gaps, and influence engineering design.
Hands-on experience designing and building scalable automation frameworks using Java-based testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Rest Assured, or equivalent.
Strong experience across API, integration, component, contract, and end-to-end testing for distributed systems and microservices.
Hands-on Experience in Backend Testing.
Hands-on ownership of CI/CD quality pipelines, including GitHub Actions/Jenkins, quality gates, static analysis, SonarQube, and release automation.
Experience defining test strategy, automation architecture, and quality standards for engineering teams rather than only executing tests.
Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyse defect trends, quality metrics, and engineering reliability using data.
Proven experience mentoring engineers and driving quality culture through technical leadership and influence AI-first approach / experience using AI tools.
