Team Lead - Full Stack Engineering

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead - Full Stack Engineering to lead the design, development, and delivery of our web and mobile applications. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with people leadership, requiring you to mentor developers, drive engineering excellence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-quality, scalable products.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Full Stack Engineers in designing, developing, and deploying scalable web and mobile applications.
Architect and develop robust frontend applications using React and React Native.
Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable backend services using Python (Django/FastAPI).
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive project execution from planning to deployment.
Mentor, coach, and support team members through regular code reviews, technical guidance, and performance feedback.
Establish and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes.
Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
Drive application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
Oversee CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment processes.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and lead root-cause analysis for production incidents.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve engineering productivity.
Contribute to sprint planning, effort estimation, technical documentation, and engineering roadmaps.
Requirements:
Strong expertise in React and React Native for modern web and cross-platform mobile application development.
Extensive experience in Python, with strong proficiency in Django or FastAPI.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API integrations.
Experience with HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive UI development.
Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and modern deployment practices is preferred.
Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and secure coding practices.
Leadership Requirements:
Proven experience leading or mentoring software development teams.
Ability to drive technical discussions, architecture decisions, and engineering best practices.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
5-8 years of experience in Full Stack Development.
2+ years of experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
Demonstrated experience delivering scalable web and mobile applications in production.
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to balance technical excellence and business priorities.
