Data Architect

Requirements:
10 years in data and analytics roles within complex enterprise environments.
Proven experience architecting end-to-end enterprise data solutions.
Strong track record integrating SAP and other systems using CDC and batch mechanisms.
Experience collaborating with SAP functional teams (FI/CO, MM, SD, PS, PM) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) leadership.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a matrixed setup.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in EPC, engineering, energy, chemicals, life sciences, and advanced technologies or similar industrial sectors.
Hands-on experience with Azure data services (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, SnowFlake, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)).
Familiarity with SAP integration technologies (IDocs, BAPIs, OData, SAP connectors).
Exposure to data governance and metadata tools (Purview, Collibra, Informatica, and Alation).
Understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) for key enterprise domains (customers, vendors, materials, assets, projects).
Experience with analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Experience working with global, multi-location teams.
Technical Skills:
Data architecture and modeling (OLTP/OLAP; normalized/dimensional).
Data warehouse, data lake, and lakehouse design.
SAP data extraction and integration (tables, views, standard mechanisms).
Advanced SQL; Python.
Integration patterns: APIs, message queues, file ingestion, orchestration frameworks.
Data quality, profiling, and lineage implementation.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
Preferred: Master's degree.
Know about Azure Data Engineer, Azure Architect, or other cloud certifications.
Experience in Data management/governance certifications (e. g., Data Management Association (DAMA), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)).
SAP technical certifications (optional).
